She is a famous American singer and actress. Her most well-known role is her role as Tiana as the Princess, and the Frog's 2009 African-American Princess. She was named a Disney Legend in 2011. She is best known for her role as Lorrell Robinson as the film that won an Academy Award Dreamgirls (2006) as well as the character she played as LaVerne the Jukebox Ganner in the Starz TV series Power.
